DeckdOut is an AI-powered Chrome extension and web service that analyses your resume against job descriptions. Our tools include:

By using DeckdOut, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Accounts

person_addTo access DeckdOut features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
calendar_todayYou must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
editYou agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account details up to date.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

cancelUse automated tools or scripts to bulk-scrape, spam, or abuse the service
cancelCircumvent free-tier usage limits through multiple accounts or other means
cancelReverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our backend or AI prompts
cancelUse the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
cancelImpersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
cancelUpload malicious content, malware, or attempt to exploit security vulnerabilities

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

cancelCancellation — You may cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
money_offRefunds — No refunds for partial months. Refunds may be provided at our discretion where required by applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
notificationsPrice changes— We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email.

All payments are processed by Stripe. DeckdOut does not store your payment card details.

Intellectual Property

Ours

The DeckdOut name, logo, website, extension code, and AI prompt designs are our intellectual property. You may not copy or distribute any part without written permission.

Yours

You retain full ownership of content you submit (resumes, personal info). AI-generated outputs are provided for your personal and professional use.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

infoDeckdOut is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
infoWe are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
infoOur total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to DeckdOut in the 12 months preceding the claim.
infoWe are not responsible for job application outcomes, hiring decisions, or any consequences of using AI-generated content.

Termination

person_removeYou may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
delete_foreverUpon termination, your stored data (profile, usage history, saved analyses) will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
